We are Deep Etch Games
Deep Etch Games is a family run Indie Games Company. Formed during lockdown, the founders realised that they could take their deep knowledge of the games industry and start building their own games. Sadly, full time jobs and education got in the way for too long, but in 2024, the father and son team, supported by their long suffering friends and family started the design, manufacturing and publishing of their first title.

Sam Walkden
Game Designer, Co-founder
Sam is a talented games designer and is the principal designer and producer of Deep Etch Games' first game.
He has a Masters in Game Design from Falmouth University which he was awarded in 2023. He also graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2022 with a 2:1 in Philosophy.
He designed many games over that period as prototypes, but published his first game in 2023.

Roger Walkden
Operations, Co-founder
Roger is an experienced games and entertainment industry veteran, having worked in the industry for over 25 years.
He currently runs his own consultancy business as well as being the Co-Founder and CEO of Deep Etch Games.
